Palomar Pomerado Health and Centre For Health Care have come together to form an alliance, Arch Health Partners, improving the patient experience for countless patients and residents. Centre For Health Care physicians have had a long history of more than 18 years offering both primary and specialty health care while Palomar Pomerado Health is the region’s leader in hospital care, wellness, trauma and rehabilitation services. This alliance will blend the nationally acclaimed hospital care with respected, established community-based physicians to provide comprehensive and high quality medical care.
“The alignment of PPH and Centre For Health Care is an important step forward to improve the coordination of health care services for our patients across the health care continuum—from the doctors’ office to the inpatient hospital and beyond,” reported Victoria Lister, Executive Director, Arch Health Partners (and former Chief Executive Officer of Centre For Health Care).
“Arch Health Partners is a community not-for-profit corporation designed to invest in ambulatory care and physician practices,” states Michael Covert, Chief Executive Officer, Palomar Pomerado Health. “It will allow PPH to align with physicians in many locations throughout the district. Through this organization, the physician group can recruit and retain physicians and now has the infrastructure needed to encourage physician involvement in initiatives that enhance quality and reduce the cost of care.”
